Join us for behind-the-scenes tours of the Clarence Brown Theatre and a reception honoring Brown. Stay for an outdoor presentation of National Velvet (1944) on the Plaza to launch the Film Festival.
Free parking is available in the McClung Tower Garage on the UT campus after 5:30.
Clarence Brown Film Festival
This event is part of the Clarence Brown Film Festival, celebrating the work and legacy of Knoxvillian Clarence Brown (1890–1987). Nominated for eight Oscars, Brown directed the biggest stars of the silver screen including Greta Garbo, Clark Gable, and Elizabeth Taylor. Events are free and open to the public.
