Event Details

Daytime Docs is a monthly film series featuring documentaries that bring awareness to diverse perspectives and life experiences through the power of visual storytelling.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’ll be showing the exhilarating 2018 film Maiden. This film follows the story of Tracy Edwards, a 24-year-old cook on charter boats, who became the skipper of the first ever all-female crew to enter the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1989.

Viewers are encouraged to stay after the screening to discuss the film. Then browse our Sights & Sounds collection to take home a few documentaries and films until our next screening!
