Union Ave Books and Knox County Public Library are proud to present this special event together.
One Saturday a month, we have invited an author and/or illustrator to read their books to all interested children and their families. Books will be available to purchase, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to KCPL.
Our featured author this month is Angelica Shirley Carpenter, who will be joining the storytime over Zoom. She writes biographies for young people and older readers, too. Her latest book, The Secret Gardens of Frances Hodgson Burnett, details the life of the author who spent part of her life here in Knoxville before writing classics like The Secret Garden and A Little Princess.
