The tour is full; no new registrations are being accepted.

As the saying goes, "well-behaved women never make history." Find out for yourself how well behaved Knoxville's history-making women were. Walk in their footsteps with historian and storyteller, Laura Still, who has made history herself as the author of several books on local lore.

Laura has led many walking tours for Knox County Public Library. We are pleased to have her back as she explores iconic women that helped shape our town today. You'll meet Anne Armstrong, Frances Hodgson Burnett, Mary Boyce Temple, Lizzie Crozier French and many others on this 90 minute walking tour.
