Program Description
Event Details
For young children it can be hard to imagine their parents as someone’s child or understand exactly how they are connected to extended family members. This can make the concept of genealogy difficult for them to grasp. In this Little History Lesson, we will break down what genealogy is and how it is done. Using documents, crafts, and stories, we will explore the methods genealogists might use, and help these little learners understand their place in their family’s story.
Little History Lesson is a program of the Museum of East Tennessee History and will be held in History Headquarters, the Museum's family gallery. It is also a featured program of East Tennessee Roots & Resources.
