Join local author, Adam Alfrey, at 2pm for a book talk.

Adam Alfrey is the author of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a vintage postcard history that explores one of our nation’s most treasured–and most visited–landscapes.

For 20 years, Adam H. Alfrey has served as a manager and curator at the East Tennessee History Center, Knox County Public Library. He is active in the state's museum and historical communities currently serving on the boards of the Birthplace of Country Music and the Tennessee Folklore Society. He is a past president of the Tennessee Association of Museums and founder of the Knoxville Holstons, an 1864 base ball team within the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball. Alfrey enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and daughter and has research interests in the early artists and photographers of East Tennessee.
