Whether you're discovering a new favorite author or deepening your connection to Tennessee’s literary landscape, The Local Chapter is your place to turn the page together.

Join local author, Stanford Johnson, for a book talk and signing from 2pm-3pm.

Stanford Johnson is a native East Tennessean, two-time honorably discharged and former homeless Army Veteran in recovery from Co-Occurring Disorder since December 27, 2015.

He credits the desire to write his debut novel, Our LITTLE Secret, with saving his life and the writing of it with healing him.

He lives on a farm at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, that has been in his family 160+ years.

He enjoys hiking and spending time with his son and daughter-in-law.
