Children and teens, create a dino-mite drawing, painting, or collage and submit it to be displayed at a participating library location. Help us celebrate our 'Roar into a Story' summer library challenge theme.

Art must be submitted on 9” x 12” tagboard provided by the Library. (Artwork can be created on the board or mounted on it for display.) Art will be grouped by age levels: Preschool, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School.

This event is part of our Summer Library Challenge. Participating artists may check off five completed activities in the 'Roar into a Story' challenge and receive a participation certificate. 

Registration

Space is limited; registration is required for participation. Contact your participating library location to register. (You can find their contact information on this page.) Artists will be limited to ONE entry per person.

  • You must register June 18–July 2
  • Drop off your artwork July 6–8
  • Artwork will be on display July 11–24
  • Pick up artwork July 25–August 8

Important: Artwork will be on public view and may be shared on Library social media. Artist’s first name and age group may display. The Library is not responsible for damage to or theft of items. The Library will not display artwork deemed inappropriate for this show. The Library will not store artwork after the pickup dates.
