How to look up nonprofits
- Start your search with a simple phrase, such as “food banks in Knoxville.”
- If you know the organization you’re looking for, search their name or EIN.
- Narrow your results using filters, such as location or population served.
- Select a nonprofit and explore their profile for key information on their mission, programs, financials, employees, and more.
How to find funding and grants
- Start your search with a broad phrase, such as your field of work.
- If you know the funder you’re looking for, search their name.
- Select the ‘Grantmakers’ tab and use other filters, such as subject area and organization type, to narrow your results.
- Explore funders’ profiles to review their past giving and determine if they’re a good fit for your fund raising effort. Find key contact information once you’re ready to reach out.
