The 2025 Seeds of Imagination Luncheon was a great success with a sold out house, exciting silent auction items and a little trivia! We honored Ann Staup of Direct Mail Services for her work in processing and mailing nearly 300 million Imagination Library books across the country. On top of that, we celebrated 20 years of this program! Many thanks to Temple Photography!
Additional Items
The trivia champ!
Think you know a lot about Dolly? We played Dolly trivia and Chrystal took home the prize -- a signed copy of Dolly's Coat of Many Colors, a signed photograph and her latest CD, Smoky Mountain DNA. Congrats Chrystal!
No one left empty handed!
There was no excuse to leave empty handed! Between the silent auction, adorable book cover themed cookies from Whimsey Cookies, centerpieces, or the #BeADolly campaign, your hands were full on the way out!
Girls on the town
So many friends gathered and celebrated together. We loved seeing the smiles, hugs, friendly competition, and fashion!
Korenna Hodge
As a child, Korenna Hodge was one of the very first kids to register to receive Imagination Library books. Twenty years later, she's mastered the harp and entertained the crowds at our luncheon! We wonder how many people picked up on Dolly's tunes played to a harp?
Coat of Many Colors Quilt
Board member extraordinaire, Beth Lackey, spent the year making a king-sized quilt inspired by Dolly's Coat of Many Colors. Congrats to Ann Lantry who had the winning bid!
She brought one of her first books!
Board member Dimpal Patel and her family joined us for the day. Her daughter brought one of her first books she received in the Imagination Library program!
Abby Ham emcee
If you need an extremely talented (and beautiful) emcee, call Abby. As a former board member and mom to three kids who all received Imagination Library books, she's the perfect spokesperson! Plus, she's really funny! Thank you Abby!
Thank you Cachepot!
Our centerpieces were a hit! Thanks to Cachepot, we adorned each table with a live plant that people were able to buy at the end of the event.
Join us to Be A Dolly!
We hope you'll join the Be A Dolly challenge! It's easy and it will extend your gift to sustain Imagination Library!
Dolly trivia stumped a few folks!
From Dolly's middle name to the oldest book in the Imagination Library collection, this trivia tested your knowledge!
Thanks Kay!
Kudos to Kay who not only manages the day to day operations of Imagination Library, but she also worked tirelessly to put on this Seeds luncheon. What a champ!
Cherokee Country Club
There are few places in Knoxville more beautiful than the Cherokee Country Club! Thanks to the great staff for making it a magical day.
