The East Tennessee Historical Society announces the 4th annual History Hootenanny, a celebration of East Tennessee history, organized in partnership with the Library's Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection and Tennessee Archive of Moving Image & Sound. History Hootenanny showcases the best of the East Tennessee History Center and its partners at this open house.
This year’s theme is “Sports History” as we celebrate the feature exhibition, Home Runs & Home Teams: A History of the National Pastime in Tennessee. Guests can enjoy live music, sports-themed children’s activities, a used local history book sale, Knoxville walking tours, shuttles to the Historic House Museums of Knoxville, and more!
