You Gave Me A Song follows eighty-four year old, old-time music pioneer Alice Gerrard over several years, offering an intimate portrait of her remarkable, unpredictable journey creating and preserving traditional music.
Alice will take the stage following the documentary for a concert. She will be joined by Tatiana Hargreaves and Reed Stutz.

Curated by Dr. René Rodgers, Birthplace of Country Music Museum, it will remail open through April 19, 2026 at the East Tennessee History Center. Presented by the East Tennessee Historical Society.
