Program Description

Event Details

The natural and man-made wonders in and around Knoxville have been inspiring generations of artists since its early days, and downtown is full of displays of their genius wherever there is space. Laura Still will explore our heritage of artworks on street corners, public buildings, alleys, and green spaces and the stories of those who created them, from Lloyd Branson to Beauford Delaney to Megan Lingerfelt.

We will meet on the front steps of Lawson McGhee Library (500 W. Church Ave). Be prepared to walk for up to 90 minutes. The tour will go on in good or moderate weather.
