Summer Library Club

This event is part Summer Library Club. This summer, adventure begins at the library! When you attend this or another summer program, log another mission in the Read City USA Quest for Knowledge challenge!

Event Details

Children and teens, help us celebrate the theme of our summer reading challenge by submitting your “Quest for Knowledge” drawings, paintings, and collages to be displayed at participating library locations throughout the county. Art must be submitted on 9” x 12” tagboard provided by the Library. 

Participating artists will earn five missions of credit toward the Quest for Knowledge challenge. Art will be grouped by age levels: Preschool, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School.

Registration

Space is limited; registration is required for participation. Contact your participating library location to register. (You can find their contact information on this page.) Artists will be limited to ONE entry per person.

  • You must register June 22–July 6
  • Drop off your artwork July 8–10
  • Artwork will be on display July 13–26
  • Pick up artwork July 27–August 10

Important: Artwork will be on public view and may be shared on Library social media. Artist’s first name and age group may display. The Library is not responsible for damage to or theft of items. The Library will not display artwork deemed inappropriate for this show. The Library will not store artwork after the pickup dates.
