The Friends of the Library used book sales take place at branch libraries throughout the year.

Drop in for some holly jolly fun between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Play games, win prizes, and grab some fun crafts, activity pages, and treats to take home!

Go beyond LEGO and learn to build with different materials. 

LEGO Club gives participants (children and teens) an opportunity to make interesting creations with Legos and have their designs displayed to the public at Powell Library. 

Families will create felt Christmas ornaments as keepsakes. Stencils and craft books provided for inspiration. Families are also welcome to create an additional ornament to decorate Cedar Bluff’s felt Christmas tree!  All ages welcome.

Gather with other teens to discuss current fave reads at the Halls Teen Book Club!

Explore the art form of collage in a monthly series. For teens and adults. Under age 13 requires instructor permission. Please call the branch for any questions.

Come one, come all! Bring the whole family for an evening filled with games. We’ve got something for everyone including a selection of tabletop board games and card games. This event is perfect for players of all ages.

Craft your festive, sparkly holiday ornament to brighten a winter night. Ages 5+. 

Yippee Ki-Yay! It's Christmas at Brush Hour. We will be creating a simple illusion ornament inspired by the cult classic film, Die Hard. 

Ages 10-adult! Join a ranger from Seven Islands State Birding Park a fun crafty afternoon and create gifts for the birds and bird lovers in your life!

Create your own seasonal door mat.

This program is for intermediate and advanced stitchers to work together on larger on-going projects. Participants are encouraged to bring their own work. We encourage you to register by calling the branch.

Middle School Crafternoon-where tweens craft, chat, and chill. Refreshments will be served.

This month, we will be making swirled paint ornaments to celebrate the holiday season!

Knit, crochet, and create with fellow yarn enthusiasts, share ideas, and check out provided craft books for inspiration.

Participants will play bingo for a chance to win free books provided by Friends of the Library.  Refreshments provided.  All ages welcome.
