This program is for intermediate and advanced stitchers to work together on larger on-going projects. Participants are encouraged to bring their own work. We encourage you to register by calling the branch.

Crafternoons is an arts and crafts program for children.  Crafts can be done onsite or taken home.  This program is a safe place for kids to gather, work on social and motor skills and just have fun.

Middle School Crafternoon-where tweens craft, chat, and chill. Refreshments will be served.

This month, we will be making Pressed Flower Jar Bookmarks!

Learn how to personalize a pair of pillar candles using the napkin decoupage technique!  Due to limited materials and space, this adult program will be limited to 20 participants ages 16+ and registration is required. 

Library will provide tools, materials, and instructions for people to create a work of art using buttons on canvas.

Come one, come all! Bring the whole family for an evening filled with games. We’ve got something for everyone including a selection of tabletop board games and card games. This event is perfect for players of all ages.

Bring your paper crafts and play! This relaxed monthly meetup offers table space, tools, and good company—no lessons, just time to cut, glue, fold, and make. Feel free to bring a snack and drink to enjoy while you craft.  Age 14 and up.

Join us for Brush Hour, the no skills required art class for teens and adults. Thirteen and under must receive instructor permission. Please call the branch for any questions.

(K-8) A low-tech makerspace where children can explore creativity and engage in making projects that will foster innovation, encourage experimentation, and empower a new generation of makers.

Enjoy a LEGO club meant for smaller hands. Mega Bloks creations must remain at the library.

A STEM program for elementary students that focuses on building with building sets, as well as sharing books on engineering and building.

Join our monthly paper craft class! Susan Bernard will demonstrate crafts like quilling, jewelry-making, book folding, and baskets. Ages 14+. All materials provided. Space limited.

Knit, crochet, and create with fellow yarn enthusiasts, share ideas, and check out provided craft books for inspiration.

LEGO Club gives participants (children and teens) an opportunity to make interesting creations with Legos and have their designs displayed to the public at Powell Library. 

Grades K-5 welcome! Registration encouraged.
