Join our monthly paper craft class! Susan Bernard will demonstrate crafts like quilling, jewelry-making, book folding, and baskets. Ages 14+. All materials provided. Space limited.

This program is for beginners to learn cross-stitch basics. Each month we will stitch a different design. We encourage registering by calling the branch.

Explore the art form of collage in a monthly series. For teens and adults. Under age 13 requires instructor permission. Please call the branch for any questions.

Grades K-5 welcome! Registration encouraged.

Bedazzle your favorite book with sparkling gems. Please bring a book of your choice for the craft. Space is limited to 15 participants. Call 865-525-1541 to register.

Participants will play bingo for a chance to win free books provided by Friends of the Library.  Refreshments provided.  All ages welcome.

Ages 5-11.

This will be a special storytime featuring bilingual stories, songs and activities in English and Spanish. We'll have a special presenter from Centro Hispano de East Tennessee join Miss Laura. 

This program is for intermediate and advanced stitchers to work together on larger on-going projects. Participants are encouraged to bring their own work. We encourage you to register by calling the branch.

Crafternoons is an arts and crafts program for children.  Crafts can be done onsite or taken home.  This program is a safe place for kids to gather, work on social and motor skills and just have fun.

Middle School Crafternoon-where tweens craft, chat, and chill. Refreshments will be served.

This month, we will be making rubber band bracelets!

Knit, crochet, and create with fellow yarn enthusiasts, share ideas, and check out provided craft books for inspiration.

LEGO Club gives participants (children and teens) an opportunity to make interesting creations with Legos and have their designs displayed to the public at Powell Library. 

Grades K-8: Discover the physics principles used in creating balanced mobiles. Participants can design, make, and experiment with snowflake mobiles ensuring they are successfully balanced. All materials provided. Please register online.

Calling all dino enthusiasts! Examine fossils, exhibits, and dino skeleton replicas, like two-year-old T. Rex, Junior, in the Traveling Dinos Museum.

Curiosity Club provides a new theme every month designed to challenge and grow children's imaginations. Designed for ages 5-11.
