Chuck Maland is Professor Emeritus of the University of Tennessee. Former Head of the English Department and Chair of the Cinema Studies Program, he's also author, among others, of Chaplin and American Culture, and editor of James Agee's Complete Film Criticism: Reviews, Essays, and Manuscripts, Volume 5 of The Complete Works of James Agee, published by UT Press.
