PERSI, or the Periodical Source Index, is the premier subject index for genealogy and local history periodicals and is produced by the staff of the Genealogy Center of the Allen County Public Library in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. These periodical titles, including defunct titles, were published by thousands of local, state, national and international societies and organizations including those published by the East Tennessee Historical Society.
