Welcome! With help from groups like yours, we will meet Mayor Jacobs' 2023 challenge to "go platinum" by reading one million hours. When your group completes a challenge, each participant will earn "note"-worthy prizes (see below).

The 2023 reading challenges begin January 24. Check back for updated information and make sure to join the Find Your Voice challenge in Beanstack after you've registered your group.

Get started - Register your group

It's easy to record your group's reading time with Beanstack tracking software. To get started, register your group.

  1. Go to 
  2. Choose Register a Class or Group 
  3. Decide if you’re all going to be reading together (All at one time) or independently (Individually) 
  4. Complete the Registration form with your group information  

Logging your reading time

When you’re ready to record your time, you can sign in to Beanstack in your browser, or in the app on your mobile phone. (Download for free from the App Store or Google Play.)

  1. Choose Log Reading at the top left corner. 
  2. If you’ve chosen to log group members individually, make sure you log for each person.

Print or request materials

'All Together Now' Challenges

Finishers of all ages earn a prize for each challenge they complete! (Up to 3 prizes total, while supplies last.) Groups of 15 or more, please contact your location before picking up prizes to ensure adequate quantities are available. Styles may vary.
