This index was created in late August 2021 by exporting the relevant fields from the master probate computer file maintained by the Probate Court. Closed files are held by the Knox County Archives, (865) 215-8800. Open files remain with the Probate Court, (865) 215-2389.
Estate files created prior to 1954 were not assigned docket numbers. These files are currently being processed and are not accessible though most have entries in the Will and Estate Settlement Books.
